Will AI replace my strata manager?

This is something that we’ve been thinking about A LOT lately! AI is everywhere right now, and certain jobs are becoming obsolete since Open AI released ChatGPT to the general public back in late 2022.

If you watched or read Bill Gates’ most recent interview, he has even stated and Doctors and Teachers will become a thing of the past within the next 10 years.

Blue collar jobs such as trades and construction will likely have a bit more staying power, but white collar and administrative jobs may also go the way of the Dinosaur…which is exactly what Strata Management is!

Which strata managements tasks will be replaced by AI?

Most experts agree that repetitive, administrative tasks will be the first to be replaced by AI, and certainly the Strata Industry is full of those. Whether this means that there will no longer be the need for a licensed Strata Agent, or simply that the strata agent and the strata management company will be much more productive, is really the question. Instead of managing 10-15 buildings, perhaps they will be able to manage 50 buildings each. And will they need administrators to help them, or will they be able to do it all themselves? Only time will tell, but already tasks such as taking minutes have been replaced by AI tools, and this is just the start!

What can AI do for Strata Agents right now?

Resolutions, letters, quotes, presentations, etc. can now all be done in the matter of minutes using 2025 AI tools, and with the technology advancing so rapidly, what is 2030 going to look like?
